DESCRIPTION:Join the University Singers\, UVA Chamber Singers\, Virginia Gl
 ee Club\, and Virginia Women’s Chorus for the traditional Family Weekend
  Choral Showcase—Friday\, October 22nd\, 8:00 pm in Old Cabell Hall on 
 the Lawn at the University of Virginia.\n\nReserve your tickets today!\n\n
 The concert’s lively and varied program will feature selections from all
  four ensembles’ 2021 repertoire\, as they return to singing in person 
 – including Jake Runestad’s “Let My Love be Heard\,” Rosephanye P
 owell’s “Still I Rise\,” works by Tallis and Sondheim\, and music fr
 om Broadway and film including the revival of Godspell and The Lord of 
 the Rings. The evening will also include several of the beloved UVA songs
 .\n\nThe University Singers\, and the UVA Chamber Singers are directed 
 by UVA professor and conductor Michael Slon\, the Virginia Women’s Chor
 us is conducted by KaeRenae Mitchell\, and the Virginia Glee Club is le
 d by conductor Frank Albinder.\n\nTickets for the program are available at
  the UVA Arts Box Office in the Culbreth building\, online at artsboxof

 ailable at the door.\n\nOld Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UV
