DESCRIPTION:The Virginia Glee Club joins the BucsWorth Men's Chorus of East
  Tennessee State University for a collaborative performance at First Presb
 yterian Church Johnson City at 7:30 PM\, Saturday\, March 2\, 2024.\n\nDir
 ected by Grammy Award winning conductor Frank Albinder\, the Virginia Glee
  Club is the oldest musical organization at the University of Virginia and
  one of the oldest collegiate tenor-bass choirs in the nation\, founded in
  1871. Members of club come from different schools throughout the Universi
 ty and consider themselves a "fraternity of talent".\nEach year Club endea
 vors to take a tour to share the music they have learned through the year.
  Last year\, Club embarked on an International tour to England and Wales a
 nd this year a domestic 'Tour of the South' including performances and col
 laborations in Johnson City\, Chattanooga\, Atlanta\, Jackson\, Birmingham
 \, Charlotte\, and Roanoke. Selections to be performed include pieces of b
 oth secular and sacred choral traditions highlighting the unique qualities
  of the tenor and bass voice.\nThe Virginia Glee Club is a 501(c)3 Non Pro
 fit organization and receives no direct funding from the University of Vir
 ginia. Club depends on the generosity of our alumni\, parents and friends 
 to continue spreading harmony\, love and brotherhood across the nation and
