Choral Showcase and Family Weekend Reception

On Friday, October 18 at 8:00 PM the Virginia Glee Club will perform in the University’s Family Weekend Choral Showcase at 8pm in Old Cabell Hall with the University Singers, Chamber Singers, and the Virginia Women’s Chorus.

On Saturday afternoon, we will be hosting a reception for friends and family of the Virginia Glee Club – please come out and get to know our Exec Board, conductor Frank Albinder, General Manager Travis Lively, and the current members of the Glee Club! The reception will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at 1515 University Ave., Charlottesville, VA.

The Virginia Glee Club is an affiliated group of the McIntire Department of Music at the University of Virginia. Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.
