Dr. Ting-Ting Yen, Accompanist
Dr. Ting-Ting Yen joined Virginia Glee Club in 2023 and has enjoyed a versatile musician’s career as both a pianist and a violinist. Ting-Ting is currently Music Director at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian church. Previously, she was Music Director at Warm Springs Presbyterian Church and faculty accompanist at Washington and Lee University. As a violinist Ting-Ting is a member of Roanoke Symphony and also performs periodically with Richmond Symphony, Charlottesville Symphony, New Century Chamber Orchestra, and at Garth Newel Music Center. Ting-Ting was formerly a member of the Winston-Salem Symphony and New Mexico Philharmonic.
Ting-Ting received her D.M.A. in Violin Performance, and a Master’s in Collaborative Piano at the University of Minnesota. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from Manhattan School of Music.
Travis Lively, General Manager
Travis joined the Virginia Glee Club as General Manager in 2019. Travis received a music degree from Berklee College of Music with a concentration in Voice and Music Therapy. From a young age Travis was a singer with the Virginia Consort in Charlottesville and sat on the executive committee of the chorus during the 2010s. He has also sang with the Berklee Concert Choir, Oswego State University Festival Chorus and the Richmond Men's Chorus. Since joining Glee Club he has had the pleasure of singing tenor as an honorary member. Travis lives in Richmond, Virginia where he also works as a freelance gardener and as a Guest Engagement Lead at the Maymont Foundation. Contact: manager@virginiagleeclub.org
