We are excited to announce the creation of The Virginia Glee Club Singer Scholarship, a talent and performance based scholarship in the amount of $1,000 open to current students at the University of Virginia who are also current or new members of the Virginia Glee Club. Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must fill out an application form and schedule an audition with Frank Albinder, the Virginia Glee Club conductor.
Applicants must complete one full year of membership with the Virginia Glee Club, in addition to maintaining exemplary rehearsal and performance attendance.
We are currently accepting applications! Deadline for application is September 15, 2021. Auditions for the Virginia Glee Club and scholarship will be held at the beginning of the Fall Semester.
