The VGC Rehearsal Weekend was a great success. Saturday we had afternoon and evening rehearsal sessions at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Springfield, VA. During this time Frank led us through yoga, breathing exercises, extensive vocal warm ups, and we started rehearsing the music for our 84th Annual Christmas Concerts.
After a hearty breakfast on Sunday morning, we performed at the 11 AM service at Kirkwood Presbyterian followed by a picnic hosted by the VGC-Alumni and Friends. The weather was perfect for alumni sharing stories of their time in Club with current club members. The picnic ended with a celebratory sing of 10K and the Good Old Song.
