Are you a tenor or bass singer still looking for a place to sing on Grounds? Now that our formal audition cycle has come to a close, we wanted to open our rehearsals to anyone still interested in joining! No preparation needed. Our club meets weekly in Old Cabell Hall, room B012 every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. B012 is located down the staircase to the left as you enter the hall, immediately to your front as you exit that stairway is a hallway with B012 located at the end of it.
Outside of musical proficiency through singing, the Virginia Glee Club provides its members the opportunity to participate in additional social events, meet friends and alumni, and perform in a series of concerts showcasing a changing, sometimes challenging choral repertoire.
Join us as we celebrate our 155th season with a collaboration with the Virginia Women’s Chorus for their annual WAV concert on February 21, a performance through a community concert at the Center at Belvedere on April 9, and our annual Finals Concert on May 15. Additionally, we will join the VGC-Alumni and Friends Association to celebrate our 155th Anniversary the weekend of March 27-29.
