Born and raised in northern Virginia with two older sisters, I came to UVA like most first years trying to find a place. Watching two of my hallmates (Fist and Hamsteroid) being rolled into Glee Club led me to inquire of them further, and after hearing about their exciting new guy night, I auditioned the next week before rehearsal. Scraping my way in, I have loved the experience and people Club has created, and even moreso subscribe to the existence of this men's chorus as a brotherhood, open to all, which creates beautiful music and betters the community and its members through our common goal.
