The Virginia Glee Club joins the University Singers, UVA Chamber Singers, and the Virginia Women’s Chorus for the traditional Family Weekend Choral Showcase—Friday, October 22nd, 8:00 pm in Old Cabell Hall on the Lawn at the University of Virginia.

The concert’s lively and varied program will feature selections from all four ensembles’ 2021 repertoire, as they return to singing in person – including Jake Runestad’s “Let My Love be Heard,” Rosephanye Powell’s “Still I Rise,” works by Tallis and Sondheim, and music from Broadway and film including the revival of Godspell and The Lord of the Rings. The evening will also include several of the beloved UVA songs.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA’s historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda.(map) At UVA, parking is available in the C1 lot off McCormick Rd (keep in mind there is currently construction), and the Central Grounds Parking Garage on Emmet St. is walking distance to the hall.  Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.  For further parking information please call (434) 924-3984.
